Hi Everyone,

I did manage to get out and hit the streams this weekend.  Went to Walnut on Thursday before work and I wasn’t able to get into a good pool where the fish were holding so I didn’t manage to land any fish.  I tried again on Saturday and arrived early to get a good spot at Walnut.  Went up to chutes and had what I thought was a good spot.  When light came I only saw about 3 hook ups and there was very few fish making their way through the creek.  It was tough.  With only a few fish moving in and out,  alot of people were leaving the creek.  I thought for sure the creeks would fish good this weekend but it didn’t seem to be holding alot of fish.  I didn’t even see that many hookups in the Manchester hole.  I talked to a few people who were saying the same thing….where are all the fish.  We do need some rain to get the creeks back up and hopefully bring in those fresh fish.  I will let you know how the week goes as far as weather.

I will be concentrating on hunting the next few weeks as the archery season will be winding down in about 2 weeks and it is prime time for rut.  Already got my doe this year so I am after one of those big monsters but will continue to let you know how the streams are doing when I get a chance.
