It seems like the last few days has been nothing but rain. Sunday, it pretty much rained all day. Today, it started to rain in the morning and pretty much was raining most of the afternoon and evening. I did get a chance to actually go archery hunting tonight and it rained the whole time I was hunting (By the way, I enjoy hunting also). On my hunting trip I saw 3 doe and a small buck but never could actually get a count on the points. Need 4 points on one side here for it to be legal. Anyways, we have received significant rains the last couple of days so I would expect the creeks to be running high. I have been checking out the USGS real-time water data for walnut creek and it show the water level dropping a little but it appears it is on the rise as of tonight.
If you want to check out some live web cams go to Uncle John’s Elk Creek Campgrounds. They have some good live web cams, check them out.
I am hoping to get up and do some steelhead fishing in the next couple of days, hope to post another video when I get up there.
