Okay…today is the day we start giving out tips for steelhead fly fishing.

First we are going to start with something called a sucker spawn.

This choice bait looks like a ball of yarn but steelhead love them.

I will be adding some pics of suckers spawns so you can see what I am talking about.

I typically fish Walnut Creek in Erie Pa.  I enjoy fishing this creek but it does get very crowded in prime time steelhead season which is usually October-December.
