I was out in the morning fishing on Walnut Creek up by the chutes. There were some people catching steelhead but the bite was slow. The one guy next to me caught 4 while I was there and a few people in the pool caught some but it wasn’t like it was the other day with atleast someone having a “fish on” as some point in every direction you looked. I know the stop sign hole was lined with people and I saw them catching some fish. I did see some fish on stringers but not a lot. I left around 11:00am. The water was still high and you could not see the fish moving upstream at all due to the dark water color. I’m betting that today, Saturday, October 29 will be a good day as the creek will have came down and more fish should be moving through the chutes.
