I went to walnut early this morning to get a start to the fall season of steelhead fly fishing. All I can tell you is that it is on. There were tons of fish moving up the creek all morning. I fished 3 1/2 hours and had 6 hookups and landed 2. Had to quit early to get ready for work. What seemed to work was brown wooly bugger, peach sucker spawn, cream sucker spawn, glow bug, a variety of flies. It was a great morning. Enjoyed being out there and fishing for steelhead.

I will be back out there tomorrow most of the day!! Will let you know what happens
