Hope everyone had a good weekend. Decided to get out and try to get a few hook ups today. It was a beautiful day out…a warm, sunny fall day. So, I decided to try the Legion hole in Girard. I found the first hole of fish and about 10 people fishing it so I decided to keep going up creek. I only saw 2 other people fishing but I did find some rapids that were holding about 7-8 fish. Okay, i will try here. It was very clear and anytime you moved the fish would spook. I ended up hooking into one and watched it eat my fly and shake its head then it was off. What, that was weird. So, I checked my fly and the hook broke off. So, I continued. I hooked up into another one and it came up shaking it’s head and this time I almost had it banked when, snap. This time the tippet broke off. We’ll that was all I managed to hook up was just the two fish. The water is very clear and low. We definetly need rain and they are calling for rain in the forecast for the next several days. Hope we get it. We’ll let you know.
